Electrical Installation Condition Report

EICR Specialists

Easyfix Electrical specialise in EICRs for domestic & commercial premises. Over the years we have worked with most of the letting agents in & around Glasgow testing homes. We offer a fast turn around service as we know renting out can be stressful espeically trying to find the right tenant only to find out you need a EICR to comply with regulations. Our electricians are NICEIC Approved so can sign off any electrical certificates required for rental or insurance purposes. It is important to always use a registered electrician when carrying out these important checks. It's not just home owners and letting agents we carry out EICRs for, we also help local businesses meet insurance requirements by making sure the property is in a safe working condition for the staff and general public. We offer discounted packages for landlords & estate agents with multiple properties. If the property is tenanted & you don't live local don't worry we can arrange access with the tenant on your behalf & you can BACS payment upon completion. This works well for landlords not based locally.

What next after the EICR

If an electrical installation condition report is satisfactory you will be given your document and no further action will be needed until your next report is due.

If the report recommends improvements to the installation, we will give you a no obligation quotation for the remedial works to be carried out. Upon completion a certificate is given to the client to say that the installation is now in a safe condition. All documents are PDF files that are emailed over so you always have a copy. For more information on what an EICR involves then please visit this safety article from Electrical Safety First.
